Eighteen months after their app and two months after their online shop, the Brakes have brought their whole digital estate onto one platform.

Leamington FC launch new website, completing a three-module StandBased build

Leamington FC have launched a brand-new official website, built on StandBased by Element16 Media, and in doing so have completed one of the most instructive digital journeys on our platform.

The website is the Brakes' third StandBased module, and it arrives in a deliberate order. The official mobile app went live in January 2025. The online club shop followed in June 2026. The website now sits on top of both, acting as the central hub that ties the club's online presence together.

Leamington were only the second club ever to come onto the StandBased platform, back in 2024. What has happened since is the pattern we designed the product around: a club adding capability when it's ready for it, on a foundation that doesn't need rebuilding each time.

What supporters get

The new leamingtonfc.co.uk is faster, cleaner and more accessible across desktop, tablet and mobile - the basics done properly, which at this level is rarer than it should be. Fans get club news, fixtures and results, player profiles, matchday details and commercial information through navigation that doesn't require a hunt.

Underneath, the site connects to the app and the shop rather than sitting alongside them. That means one place for supporters to go, one identity across the club's platforms, and one back end for the media team to run rather than three unrelated logins and three suppliers to chase.

Leamington FC Chairman Jim Scott described the launch as an exciting development built on the club's existing relationship with Element16 Media, adding to the app launched over eighteen months ago and the online shop. He said the functionality of the system opens up considerably greater scope for fan engagement, communication and future initiatives, and expects it to be transformative for all sections of the club as it moves into a new era.

Ben Wiser, founder of Element16 Media, said it had been a pleasure to work with the Leamington FC Media Team" on the launch. Having Leamington as one of the platform's earliest clubs, he noted, means this launch demonstrates the continual improvement StandBased offers over time - better fan engagement, better user experience and more commercial opportunity - rather than a one-off project delivered and left alone.

Why the order matters

Most clubs are sold digital provision as a single big-bang project: a website rebuild, quoted and delivered, then largely untouched until the next rebuild three or four years later. It's an expensive way to buy something that starts ageing on day one.

Leamington's route is the alternative, and it's worth spelling out. They started with the app, because that's where their most committed supporters already were. They added retail when the commercial case was there. They brought the website on last, by which point it could inherit everything the other two had already established - the audience, the accounts, the content, the operational habits.

Each module made the next one cheaper and more useful. That only works if the pieces are built on shared foundations. Assemble the same three things from three different suppliers and you get three products that happen to share a badge, plus a fourth job nobody quoted for: keeping them in sync.

What's next

The partnership continues. Leamington's digital estate now covers app, retail and website on one connected system, with ticketing integration and supporter engagement tools available on the same platform when the club wants them.

Supporters are encouraged to explore the new site and find their way around the improved features as the club keeps investing in the experience on and off the pitch.
